Nine campuses receive "Star Campus" status from MSCSA in 2013

The "Star Campus" award is given out to MSCSA’s most active student senates. Nine student senates from the 47 two-year Minnesota State College and University campuses that are members of MSCSA were granted “Star Campus” status this year.

The Itasca Community College student senate was a first-time recipient. Second-time recipients are Anoka Technical College, Hennepin Technical College – Brooklyn Park, Normandale Community College, Saint Paul College and South Central College-North Mankato.

Three time winners are Anoka Ramsey Community College – Coon Rapids, Dakota County Technical College and Lake Superior College.

Criteria for the award include recruitment of new students to attend MSCSA conferences, carrying out our advocacy work on campus, and even winning our Mock Legislative Training Game. The full “Star Campus” criteria can be found online.
